Most online formatter sites are funded by display advertising. That funding model is the direct cause of nearly everything people dislike about them: the tool competing with banners for screen space, pages that take seconds to become interactive, layout shifting as slots fill. This site runs no ad network, which means it needs some other way to pay for itself.

What sponsorship funds

Domain and infrastructure costs, and the maintenance time that keeps every tool here working as their underlying parsers and specifications change. It is not a large budget. It is also the difference between a project that stays maintained and one that quietly rots.

What a sponsor gets

A short, clearly-labelled placement in the sidebar of tool pages and one line in the site footer, plus a listing on this page. It is plain HTML: a name, one factual sentence, and a link.

What a sponsor explicitly does not get: any third-party script, tracking pixel, iframe, cookie, retargeting, animation, popup, or placement inside the tools themselves. Nothing about a sponsored slot is allowed to make the site slower or leak a single visitor to an ad network. Those constraints are the product, not a concession.

Editorial independence

Sponsorship buys a placement and nothing else. It does not influence which tools get built, what the cheat sheets say, or how competitors are described in comparison content. If a sponsor ever asks for that, the sponsorship ends.
